The first-aired Genocide in Humans' History
A recap of a bloody year full of nothing but absolute inhumanity!
Before the narration of real-life events that occurred—and are still occurring—within the Middle East region, an area that lies in the center of the world, I would like to feature a statement said by the former Israeli prime minister, Golda Meir:
We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children," she said. "But we can never forgive them for forcing us to kill their children."
This statement demonstrates that the Israelis have always lived and spoken as victims, even if they are committing crimes!
On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a devastating, genocidal, and brutal military campaign against the Palestinians in Gaza. Israel's official justification for this assault was "self-defense" against what it labeled as the Hamas terrorist organization.
Hamas, a resistance group established in response to decades of Israeli occupation and the displacement of Palestinians, rose out of the ashes of the 1948 Nakba—the catastrophe that saw the forced exodus of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homeland.
The escalation began on October 7th, when Hamas initiated a coordinated attack within Palestinian-occupied territory known as Israel, targeting military positions and capturing Israeli citizens to negotiate for the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners—many of whom are held without charges, including minors.
The history didn't begin on October 7th
Two key facts must be acknowledged to understand the scope of the situation:
Israel detains thousands of Palestinians without trial, a practice condemned by international human rights organizations. Many of those imprisoned are teenagers, subjected to harsh conditions without due process. It is worthy to say that later, on November 1st, the Israeli human rights organization, HaMoked, Israel, detained around 7000 Palestinians!
The UN has long recognized Israel's occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, territories seized in 1967, while the larger issue of Israel’s establishment on Palestinian land in 1948 remains a core grievance.
On October 7th, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared a full-scale war on Hamas, aiming to dismantle the group and rescue captured Israelis. Netanyahu's government, leveraging Israel's advanced military capabilities—particularly its world-class air force—unleashed a relentless bombardment on Gaza, an already besieged enclave home to over two million Palestinians, leading to the death of more than 230 Palestinians in the first day of assaults!
Netanyahu spoke to the whole world, saying:
“You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible. 1 Samuel 15:3 ‘Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass’," Netanyahu said.
Some people claimed that "Amalek" or the "giants" were supposed to be Hamas resistance members. However, it is safe to say that the Palestinians, all of them, were Netanyahu's Amalek!
Anyway, Amalek were the ancient enemies of the Israelites. According to Bible, the Israelites (now the Israelis!) are supposed to eliminate them.
The Israeli Oppression Forces, often described as one of "the most moral army in the world," engaged in an overwhelming air assault, striking civilian areas under the guise of targeting Hamas militants.
Back to the initial incidents that Israel, the US, and many other European governments are trying to manipulate to make us believe it all started on October 7th.
In 1917, Arthur James Balfour, the British foreign secretary of the largest colonial system worldwide, which held sway over 412 million people, 23 percent of the world population at the time, and by 1920, it covered 35.5 million km2 (13.7 million sq mi), 24 percent of the Earth's total land area, declared:
“The establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.”
That was a promise of a colonist to another group of colonists to colonize a land which already had its own people, just to get rid of "oppressed Jews" out of Europe. Nothing more! His aim, and the British aim, was to solve the Jewish problem in Europe and destroy any chance of developing a united country, including Egypt and Syria. Palestine was the only way to connect between those 2 countries!
Antisemitism "against Jews" has been well-established in Medieval Europe. Jews were oppressed much by their fellow Christian Europeans. Even Balfour was thought to be antisemitic after all!
Now, we have stated some facts that would confirm the "conflict," or better said, "the Zionist assaults in Palestine," never started on October 7th.
I need to add another fact: As Europe wanted to expel Jews, those Jews lived peacefully in the Muslim land, within the medieval Islamic empire:
"The great Muslim warrior, Saladin, a Kurd and scourge of the Christian Crusaders, conquered Jerusalem in 1187 after a five-month siege. Saladin encouraged the Jews to return to the city. Some came from as far south as Yemen, others from North Africa. Between 1209 and 1211, Jews also reached Jerusalem from England, northern France and Provence. Some 300 rabbis in all were welcomed to the city by its Muslim rulers."
Now, let's dive deep into the results of "war against Khamas" declared by the Israeli occupational state through a quick recap of their assaults on Gaza.
November 1st, 2023
Gaza Faces Another Communication Blackout Amid Continued Israeli Bombardment
For the second time in less than a week, Gaza has been plunged into silence. Israel has cut phone and internet services, severely limiting communication across the war-torn enclave.
Paltel, the primary telecommunications provider, reported a complete disruption of services on Wednesday morning. This follows a previous 36-hour blackout from Friday to Sunday, which heightened fears and uncertainty among the population.
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, broadcasting from Khan Younis via satellite, noted that “this blackout is very tragic for people here and an indication that something serious is going on.” The inability to communicate leaves families in southern Gaza in distress, unable to reach loved ones in the north.
Gaza’s Only Cancer Hospital Shuts Down Amid Israeli Blockade
The Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, Gaza's only facility offering cancer treatment, has ceased operations due to a lack of fuel, caused by Israel’s ongoing siege. The blockade has halted deliveries of fuel, food, and water, further straining the healthcare system.
Director Subhi Sukeyk made a desperate plea to the international community: “We tell the world, ‘Don’t leave cancer patients to a certain death due to the hospital being out of service.’” Gaza’s hospitals, overwhelmed by casualties and shortages, are on the verge of collapse, with more than 16 of the 35 hospitals already shut down.
The Human Toll of the Conflict: Over 8,000 Palestinians Dead in 23 days
As the Israeli siege continues, the death toll has climbed steeply. Palestinian health authorities reported that 8,796 Palestinians, including 3,648 children, have been killed since October 7.
Hospitals in Gaza are overwhelmed, facing severe shortages of medical supplies and fuel, leaving many patients untreated. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is growing, with dire consequences for civilians trapped in the enclave.
UN Warns of Possible War Crimes as Strikes on Refugee Camp Escalate
The United Nations has expressed serious concerns over the civilian toll from Israeli strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp, stating that the attacks could amount to war crimes.
The Israeli military, which claims its forces have breached Hamas’s first line of defense in northern Gaza, continues its assault on densely populated areas.
Meanwhile, hospitals in Gaza teeter on the brink of collapse due to power outages and fuel shortages, exacerbating the humanitarian disaster. With the cancer hospital now closed and more facilities at risk of shutting down, the crisis deepens for the millions of civilians trapped in Gaza.
Diplomatic Fallout Grows as Latin American Nations Condemn Israel
Latin American countries have taken strong diplomatic action in response to the escalating violence in Gaza. Colombia and Chile have recalled their ambassadors, while Argentina condemned Israel’s attacks on the Jabalia refugee camp.
Bolivia has gone further, cutting diplomatic ties with Israel entirely. These moves reflect growing international condemnation of Israel’s actions. Jordan, historically one of the first Arab nations to establish ties with Israel, has also recalled its ambassador.
The war has sparked regional tensions, with cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, while Yemen’s Houthis claimed responsibility for launching drones toward Israel, signaling the risk of a wider conflict.
Surge in Settler Violence Across West Bank During Gaza Conflict
The United Nations has also highlighted a dramatic rise in settler violence across the occupied West Bank since October 7.
According to the UN Human Rights office, the daily rate of settler attacks has more than doubled, from an average of three to seven incidents per day. As the Israeli military continues its siege of Gaza, violence has spilled over into other regions, increasing the pressure on Palestinian communities in the West Bank. The ongoing conflict has sparked fears of a broader regional escalation, with multiple factions engaging in hostilities across borders.

Israeli Airstrikes Resume as Temporary Truce with Hamas Ends
The fragile truce between Israel and Hamas collapsed on Friday, with renewed Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, including areas in the south that were previously considered safe for civilians.
Gaza's health ministry confirmed that dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured during these initial strikes. In the hours leading up to the truce's expiration, gunfire and rocket attacks were reported, with Israel accusing Hamas of breaking the agreement. The resumption of violence has left civilians scrambling for safety amidst widespread destruction.
Aid Convoys Halted as Fighting Reignites
With the resumption of the conflict, aid deliveries to Gaza have been interrupted once again. Aid trucks, which had been stranded at the Rafah border crossing for over a week, faced further delays as Israeli artillery bombardments began early Friday morning.
“The bombardment has been going on since seven in the morning,” said driver Saleh Ebada, who had been waiting for days to enter Gaza.
UN officials described the halt of aid as catastrophic, casting doubt on future deliveries of much-needed supplies such as fuel and cooking gas. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, Israeli forces are now preventing aid trucks from entering Gaza, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Casualties Rise in Gaza as Fighting Escalates
Palestinian health officials have reported that nearly 180 Palestinians were killed in Israeli bombardments on Friday, as Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resumed launching rockets toward Israel. Heavy shelling and airstrikes were reported in northern, central, and southern Gaza.
Journalist Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Khan Younis, described the situation as dire, stating, “The Gaza Strip is under heavy artillery and even aerial bombardment by the [Israeli] occupation forces.”
Khan Younis, which had previously been a refuge for displaced civilians, was also targeted in the attacks. As the fighting spreads across the enclave, Palestinian civilians are left with no safe shelter.
Palestinians in Gaza Face Worsening Conditions
Palestinians in Gaza, who were already displaced and living in overcrowded conditions, are once again facing bombardment across the territory. Israeli leaflets dropped over Khan Younis warned civilians to evacuate southwards toward Rafah, as the city had become a “dangerous battle zone.”
However, journalist Hind Khoudary highlighted the desperate situation: “People are asking, ‘Where should we go?’ Gaza is unprepared for all of this.”
With no route to escape and violence erupting in areas that were previously safe, civilians in Gaza find themselves in an untenable situation, bracing for further escalation.
UN and International Mediators Push for Ceasefire Renewal
The resumption of hostilities has sparked renewed efforts by international mediators, including Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, to restore the humanitarian truce. Despite ongoing negotiations, the situation on the ground remains critical, with hospitals in Gaza operating at over 200 percent capacity.
UNICEF spokesperson James Elder, speaking from Khan Younis, warned that healthcare facilities are overwhelmed and cannot withstand another round of fighting.
“This hospital, despite the immense efforts of its brave health staff, cannot take another assault,” Elder stressed. The continued blockade and lack of fuel are pushing Gaza's already fragile healthcare system to the brink of collapse.
West Bank Violence Continues Amid Gaza Conflict
The violence is not confined to Gaza. In the occupied West Bank, settler attacks on Palestinians have intensified since October 7. Najlaa Dmaidi, whose 19-year-old son Labib was killed by Israeli settlers, recounted the tragic event that shattered her family.
“Labib would always liven up the house. He loved life, he also loved his homeland,” she shared, recalling how her son was shot by settlers during an attack on their home in Huwara.
The West Bank has seen a surge in settler violence, exacerbating tensions and leaving Palestinian families like the Dmaidis in mourning. Labib’s father, Mohammed, spoke of the shattered dreams and lost potential, lamenting the worsening conditions in the region.

Hospitals in Gaza on the Brink of Collapse Amid Catastrophic Conditions
As Israeli forces continue their military offensive in Gaza, hospitals are facing what Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila described as a "totally catastrophic" situation.
Medical facilities are overwhelmed, with shortages in essential supplies compounding the crisis. The Palestinian death toll has now risen to 21,978, with relentless bombing targeting areas such as the Maghazi and Jabalia refugee camps. Hospitals are struggling to keep up, with only a fraction of the 5,000 trauma beds needed available, placing immense pressure on medical staff.
Israel Shifts Tactics in Ground Offensive as Death Toll Rises
In a possible shift in strategy, Israel has announced the withdrawal of some of its troops from Gaza. However, bombing and ground operations continue to escalate in central and southern Gaza, expanding the conflict across the Strip.
Meanwhile, the death of a 23-year-old Palestinian prisoner in an Israeli jail has raised concerns over the treatment of detainees. In parallel, tensions between Israel and Hezbollah are increasing, with both sides exchanging fire along the Lebanon border.
Families Demand Hostage Deal as Talks Continue
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum has urged the Israeli war cabinet to approve any deal that would secure the release of captives held by Hamas.
Egyptian and Qatari mediators, alongside the United States, have been working on a potential agreement.
“The reports about a new deal offer a little hope to the families who are anxious about the fate of their loved ones,” said a statement from the forum.
The urgency surrounding these talks continues to grow as mass protests in Tel Aviv demand action.
Children in Gaza Face Unimaginable Hardship
The toll on Gaza’s youngest citizens continues to mount, with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) doctor Tanya Haj-Hassan telling Al Jazeera that children are “dying in every way possible.”
Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments are now targeting densely populated areas in both northern and southern Gaza. As Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced the completion of dismantling Hamas’s “military framework” in northern Gaza, the situation for civilians remains dire, with nowhere to escape the violence.
US and UK Respond to Yemen’s Houthi Threat as International Tensions Escalate
The US and UK conducted airstrikes against Houthi fighters in Yemen following attacks on the Red Sea. In Gaza, Israel continues to pound key locations, including Rafah and Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has begun hearing arguments accusing Israel of genocide, marking a significant moment in the international legal challenge to Israel’s actions in Gaza. The case, brought forward by South Africa, has been welcomed by Palestinians, though Israeli officials have dismissed the court as being aligned with Hamas.
Growing Humanitarian Crisis: Gaza Becomes ‘Uninhabitable’
UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths has described Gaza as “uninhabitable” as food and fuel shortages worsen and Israeli strikes destroy key infrastructure. With famine looming and medical facilities being bombed, the conditions for civilians are beyond dire.
Flooding has compounded the misery in some areas, seeping raw sewage into public spaces, while health facilities like Al-Aqsa Hospital are on the verge of shutting down entirely. British surgeon Nick Maynard, working with Medical Aid for Palestine, warned that Al-Aqsa Hospital is likely to become “completely disabled” due to missile attacks on its critical infrastructure.
West Bank Violence Intensifies Amid Gaza Conflict
As Gaza endures continuous bombardment, the occupied West Bank is also seeing an increase in violence. Israeli settlers shot and killed a young Palestinian man in Surif, near Hebron, and injured an 11-year-old in a separate incident in Yabad. The raids by Israeli forces and settler violence have caused escalating tensions in Palestinian communities, adding to the widespread fear and unrest throughout the occupied territories.
International Calls for Aid as Humanitarian Truce Fails
Efforts to renew the humanitarian truce in Gaza have stalled, with Egyptian and Qatari mediators continuing discussions with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to push for an end to the war and increase humanitarian aid. However, the sheer scale of the destruction and the continuous bombardments make any progress toward peace seem distant. The international community watches as the conflict leaves thousands dead and millions suffering.
February 2024: The Real Genocide begins!
Gaza Faces Catastrophic Health Crisis Amid Escalating Conflict
As Israeli bombardments continue, health officials in Gaza are raising alarm over a rapidly worsening public health situation.
Khalil Al-Dakran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, warned that "every day, we wait for a new epidemic to spread."
The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed widespread outbreaks of diseases such as Hepatitis A, diarrhoea, and respiratory infections, exacerbated by the collapse of basic infrastructure.
Ahmed Al-Mandhari, WHO's regional director, called for the urgent opening of crossings to allow the entry of field hospitals and essential supplies, as Gaza’s overwhelmed medical system struggles to respond.
Disease Outbreaks Surge Among Displaced Populations
Over 1.9 million people have been displaced inside Gaza, many living in overcrowded shelters provided by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Due to destroyed sewage plants, displaced communities have resorted to using seawater for washing, heightening the risk of infectious diseases. Gaza’s health ministry reported that 224,000 people in displacement camps are suffering from respiratory infections, while 159,000 have diarrhoea, particularly children under five. Hepatitis A cases are rising, with 7,500 suspected cases. The lack of antibiotics, clean water, and diagnostic tools has severely limited the ability of healthcare workers to contain these outbreaks.
Water and Sanitation Crisis: A Breeding Ground for Epidemics
Gaza’s water crisis is deepening. Only eight liters of water per person are available daily, with this amount dropping to just 1.6 liters in displacement shelters. Khalil Al-Dakran highlighted that untreated well water is now the primary source of drinking water, transported in unsanitary containers.
Fuel shortages prevent families from boiling water, compounding the risks of waterborne diseases. Infant formula is also scarce, and when available, it is prepared with contaminated water, leading to more illness among infants. Cholera, gastroenteritis, and other diseases threaten to spread, as the lack of medical resources further endangers the population.
Shelter Conditions Worsen Amid Winter Rains
Winter weather has intensified the suffering of Gaza’s displaced population. Heavy rains have caused flooding in internally displaced people's (IDP) camps, with families digging channels around their tents to drain water.
Movement is restricted as camps are submerged in muddy water. This has forced residents to create makeshift paths of bricks and mud to move between tents. The harsh weather, coupled with a lack of food, fuel, and sanitation, is contributing to what health officials are calling an "unprecedented" humanitarian disaster.
Global Humanitarian Aid Blocked, Calls for Action Intensify
The World Health Organization and other humanitarian agencies are calling for immediate international intervention to open Gaza’s crossings and deliver aid. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general, warned of the "inhumane" conditions in Gaza, attributing the rise in disease outbreaks to the lack of clean water, medical supplies, and food. The risk of further epidemics looms large as the international community struggles to ensure aid delivery amidst continuous fighting.
March 2024
Pentagon Chief Criticizes High Civilian Death Toll and Insufficient Aid in Gaza
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has expressed serious concerns about the escalating civilian death toll in Gaza, calling it “far too high” during a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant in Washington, DC. Austin also criticized the low levels of humanitarian aid reaching the Palestinian enclave, describing the situation as a "humanitarian catastrophe."
He emphasized the need for immediate action, stating, “We need immediate increases in assistance to avert famine, and our work to open a temporary humanitarian corridor by sea will help, but the key is still expanding aid deliveries by land.”
Austin's comments came a day after the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution demanding a ceasefire. However, Israel has continued to block critical humanitarian assistance, leading to widespread warnings of famine-like conditions in Gaza.
Gaza Hospitals Overwhelmed Amid Rising Casualties
The Gaza Ministry of Health has reported a significant increase in casualties from Israeli airstrikes targeting civilians seeking aid. Al-Shifa Hospital received 20 bodies and 155 injured Palestinians following an attack at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.
The Ministry described the scene as overwhelming, with patients lying on the floor due to the strained capacity of medical facilities. The death toll from the incident continues to rise as hospitals struggle with weakened medical capabilities.
Healthcare Under Siege in Gaza
Dr. Dijeng Peng, a Canadian physician working in Gaza, highlighted the ongoing attacks on healthcare facilities, describing the situation as "horrendous." Peng recounted how a drone strike recently hit the gates of the Emirati Maternity Hospital, further exacerbating conditions for medical staff already working under dangerous conditions.
Overcrowding and displacement have led to the rapid spread of communicable diseases, including respiratory infections and Hepatitis A, further overwhelming the healthcare system.
Aid Workers Under Fire as Desperation Grows in Gaza
Israeli forces continue to target aid seekers in Gaza City, with live reports from Al Jazeera showing Israeli soldiers opening fire on Palestinians attempting to access aid trucks. Many Palestinians reported waiting for over 16 hours to receive aid, only to face violence when trucks arrived. This incident follows a series of similar attacks, leaving Palestinians in the northern parts of Gaza suffering from extreme food and water shortages.
Catastrophic Medical and Humanitarian Conditions
The Gaza Health Ministry estimates that more than one million cases of infectious diseases have been detected in the Strip, with the situation worsening daily. At least 30,534 Palestinians have been killed and over 71,920 wounded since the conflict began on October 7.
The mounting death toll and catastrophic medical situation have prompted international calls for immediate action, with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warning that northern Gaza is on the brink of famine, a disaster he described as “entirely man-made.”
International Calls for Ceasefire and Humanitarian Relief
As the death toll rises, global leaders, including Guterres, are urging for immediate intervention to prevent further loss of life. He called for a ceasefire and the release of hostages while emphasizing that more humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza to avert a worsening catastrophe.
April 2024: The Scholasticide
Systematic Targeting of Gaza’s Education and Technology Sectors Amid Israeli Assault
Palestinian academics and experts have condemned the systematic targeting of scientists, IT professionals, and educational centers in Gaza, arguing that these attacks are part of a broader strategy to hinder intellectual and societal progress. Khaled Qalalwa, from the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence in Palestine, emphasized that Israel's aim is to regress life in Gaza to a “Stone Age” state, making the region uninhabitable and obstructing its reconstruction. He stated that Gaza’s growing technology sector, which has been a vital contributor to the economy and international partnerships, now faces severe damage.
Since October 7, the Israeli army has targeted dozens of IT experts and centers, crippling Gaza's technical infrastructure. Muhammad Bani Odeh, a digital transformation expert, noted that 4% of Gaza’s GDP is tied to its technology sector, which also serves the broader Palestinian economy and international clients. The destruction of these sectors could take decades to rebuild and will significantly worsen unemployment rates, which are already high in Gaza.
Education and Scientific Communities Under Siege
The assault has also targeted the academic community. According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israeli forces have killed 94 university professors and thousands of students, and destroyed all major universities in Gaza, including the Islamic University of Gaza and Al-Azhar University.
Marwan Ghanem, a professor at Birzeit University, expressed concern that Israel's attacks aim to obliterate educational and scientific hubs in Gaza, with the intent to prevent intellectual and societal development. These actions have been described as "scholasticicide" by the Arab Center Washington, DC, underscoring the deliberate destruction of Gaza’s educational infrastructure.
Catastrophic Civilian Toll and Infrastructure Destruction
Six months into Israel’s military offensive, Gaza's civilian death toll has reached catastrophic levels. Over 34,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 14,000 children, and nearly 85% of the population has been displaced.
Airstrikes have caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure, with 62% of Gaza’s housing stock either destroyed or severely damaged, according to the Gaza Government Media Office. The World Bank estimates that the cost of damage has reached $18.5 billion, and nearly 1.1 million people are facing extreme food insecurity, with famine expected to spread in the coming months.
Medical System in Ruins as Humanitarian Crisis Deepens
The World Health Organization has reported that only 10 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza remain minimally functional. Israeli forces have targeted healthcare facilities, killing hundreds of medical professionals and leaving hospitals overwhelmed.
A mass grave was recently discovered inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, revealing the grim extent of the war’s impact on Gaza's health sector. UN special rapporteur Tlaleng Mofokeng emphasized that Israel's war on Gaza has effectively “obliterated” the healthcare system, describing it as a “war on the right to health.”
Calls for International Action
Despite multiple UN resolutions calling for a ceasefire, the conflict shows no signs of abating. Four such resolutions have been vetoed or blocked, and the international community remains divided.
The United States continues to provide significant financial and military aid to Israel, even as global humanitarian organizations, including the UN, warn of an impending famine and escalating death toll. The situation in Gaza is now considered one of the most destructive modern conflicts, with little hope of resolution as the war enters its 200th day.

Rafah Attack: Women and Girls Among the Victims as Israeli Offensive Expands
In the latest Israeli military strike on Rafah’s so-called "safe area" of al-Mawasi, 13 out of the 21 people killed were women and girls, according to Al Jazeera's Hind Khoudary.
This marks the second attack targeting civilians sheltering in tents within days. On Sunday, an earlier strike set shelters ablaze, forcing displaced Palestinians to sift through the remains in search of bodies, survivors, and scarce resources for survival. Israeli tanks are now advancing into central Rafah, signaling the onset of a full-scale invasion.
Rising Palestinian Death Toll Amid International Recognition of Palestine
Since the war began on October 7, at least 36,096 Palestinians have been killed, with more than 81,000 wounded, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. In contrast, 1,139 Israelis were killed during Hamas’s attack on that same date, with dozens still held captive in Gaza. As the violence continues, Spain, Norway, and the Republic of Ireland have formally recognized the State of Palestine, adding political weight to the ongoing crisis.
Palestinian Criticism of UN Official's Silence on Gaza Genocide Accusations
Palestinian officials have condemned Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the UN Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, for failing to mention Gaza in her recent speech to the Security Council.
Majed Bamya, Deputy Ambassador to the Palestine mission at the UN, accused Nderitu of ignoring the genocidal conditions imposed on Palestinians, noting that Israel is systematically depriving Gaza of basic life-sustaining conditions. The International Court of Justice is currently reviewing genocide accusations against Israel, and Bamya emphasized that silence on these issues undermines the UN’s mandate.
Failing Aid System: Gaza on the Brink of Famine
Kerri Kennedy of the American Friends Service Committee expressed frustration over the ineffective US-built pier, which is currently only capable of handling 90 aid trucks per day—far short of the 1,500 needed.
She emphasized that reopening the three established land crossings is critical to addressing the “unprecedented” famine looming over Gaza, where 600,000 children are at risk of death. Kennedy criticized the pier as a distraction from land crossings that Israel continues to block, accusing the aid system of being "designed not to work."
Israeli Troops Fire on Civilians in Jenin
Israeli forces have continued their assault in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, firing indiscriminately at civilians, according to witnesses. Ambulance driver Hazim Masarwa reported that undercover Israeli units fired on any "moving body in the street."
Seven people, including a teacher, a doctor, and two teenagers, were killed during the raid, heightening tensions in the West Bank as Gaza faces escalating military operations.
Closure of Rafah Border Shuts Off Humanitarian Aid
The Israeli army has seized and closed the Rafah border crossing, effectively cutting Gaza off from the main route for humanitarian aid. UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths warned that Israel’s evacuation order for Rafah will lead to "more death and displacement" and that civilians in Rafah, even if they stay, must be protected. Griffiths called for urgent attention to prevent further suffering, stating, "The decisions that are made today will be remembered by the next generation."
US Delays Report on Israeli Violations of International Law
The Biden administration has indefinitely delayed the release of a State Department report that was expected to assess whether Israel's actions in Gaza constitute violations of international law. The report, which could have triggered the cessation of US military aid to Israel if violations were confirmed, has been postponed without explanation. The delay coincides with Israel’s military operations in Rafah, where the international community has raised alarms over the impact on displaced civilians.
June 2024
US Weapons Linked to Deadly Gaza School Attack
Evidence obtained by Al Jazeera has confirmed that US-manufactured weapons, specifically traced to Honeywell, were used in a deadly Israeli attack on a Gaza school operated by the United Nations. The incident is part of ongoing Israeli strikes across Gaza that have increasingly involved civilian infrastructure. This revelation has sparked renewed scrutiny of US arms sales to Israel and the role they play in the conflict.
Nuseirat Assault: Civilians Trapped as Israeli Forces Bombard Gaza
A devastating Israeli raid in Nuseirat’s market area turned the neighborhood into an inferno, according to local resident Muhannad Thabet.
“Houses were destroyed with their occupants inside,” Thabet reported, describing scenes of chaos as bombs and gunfire filled the area.
Israeli special forces conducted a simultaneous operation to extract hostages, leading to further civilian casualties. The operation has been described by Hamas as a “complex war crime” due to the death of several captives during the raid.
UN Chief Condemns Civilian Casualties, Calls for Immediate Action
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has once again condemned the ongoing violence, highlighting the increasing number of Palestinian civilian deaths since a memorial for UN staff was held last Thursday. Guterres noted that many of the families of UNRWA staff could not be reached due to deaths or forced displacement by Israeli military actions. His call for an end to the "horror" reflects mounting international pressure for a ceasefire as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
Hospitals Overwhelmed as Central Gaza Faces Intense Bombardment
Following a series of deadly airstrikes in Nuseirat and Deir el-Balah, hospitals in central Gaza have been pushed to the brink. Doctors Without Borders (MSF) coordinator Samuel Johann described the situation as “a nightmare,” with mass casualties overwhelming already scarce resources. Al-Aqsa Hospital, in particular, has been described as a "slaughterhouse" by MSF staff, with scenes of chaos as medical teams struggled to treat hundreds of wounded, many of them women and children.
Gaza’s Civilian Toll Grows Amid Escalating Attacks
Israeli strikes on central Gaza have killed at least 226 people and injured more than 400, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. The bombardments, some of the deadliest since the war began, hit densely populated areas, leaving bodies and wounded civilians scattered on the streets.
Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary reported from the overwhelmed Al-Aqsa Hospital, where explosions are constant, and terrified civilians have nowhere to turn. The European Union has condemned the attack, calling it a “massacre,” while calls for an international response continue to grow.
July 2024
Israel’s Khan Younis Evacuation Order Halts Aid Delivery and Deepens Humanitarian Crisis
Israel’s evacuation order for 250,000 people in Khan Younis has critically disrupted efforts to deliver humanitarian aid, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
The order triggered mass panic and the forced evacuation of the European Hospital in southern Gaza, severely worsening the already dire situation. Gaza’s government media office has called the evacuation a step towards an “unprecedented” healthcare crisis, placing thousands of lives in danger. They have urged the international community to intervene, labeling the situation a "genocide" and condemning Israel’s continued assaults on healthcare facilities.
Israeli Settler Violence Targets Palestinians in Nablus
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli settlers from the Eli settlement near Nablus have attacked Palestinian vehicles, injuring several individuals. Verified reports and social media posts confirmed that the settlers threw stones at Palestinian cars in yet another violent confrontation. These attacks reflect the ongoing tensions and violence in the West Bank, exacerbated by the Israeli military’s expanding operations in the region.
Hamdan Family Among Casualties as Evacuations Lead to More Deaths
The forced evacuation of Khan Younis has led to devastating civilian casualties, including the Hamdan family, whose members fled their home only to be killed by an Israeli airstrike in Deir el-Balah.
Nine members of the family, including five children and three women, were killed in the strike, highlighting the tragic consequences of Israel’s ongoing evacuation orders. This marks the third mass displacement in Gaza in recent months, deepening confusion and despair among the population as they are repeatedly forced to flee areas deemed "safe."
Israeli Forces Seize Archaeological Site in West Bank’s Sebastia
Israeli forces have seized 1,300 square meters of land at an archaeological site in Sebastia, near Nablus, to build military barracks, violating UNESCO laws, according to the town's mayor, Muhammad Azem. The move threatens local tourism and is part of a broader effort by Israel to extend control over Palestinian territories. This seizure underscores the expanding militarization and occupation of the West Bank.
Updated Palestinian Death Toll Reaches 37,900 Amid Ongoing Conflict
The Palestinian Health Ministry has released an updated list of Palestinians killed in Israel’s war, documenting 37,900 deaths. The ministry has identified 28,185 individuals by name, with 9,715 still unidentified due to the chaos and overwhelming pressure on Gaza’s health system. Despite accusations from Israel that the death toll is inflated, health officials stress that the true number is likely higher, with many bodies trapped under rubble from airstrikes.
Tulkarem Refugee Camp Declared a ‘Disaster Area’
Faisal Salameh, the head of the committee providing services to the Tulkarem refugee camp, has declared the area a “disaster zone” following consecutive Israeli military raids. Infrastructure, including waste management, water, power, and telecommunications, has been devastated, with roads destroyed and homes damaged. The camp has been subjected to repeated raids since October, part of what Salameh describes as a policy of collective punishment by Israeli forces.
UN Documents Mass Casualty Attacks in Gaza
The UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has documented three major Israeli mass casualties in Gaza between July 11 and 14, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians.
The deadliest attack struck a displacement camp in al-Mawasi, killing 90 people, including children and aid workers. Other strikes targeted a prayer site in the Shati refugee camp and a UNRWA school in Nuseirat, leaving a combined toll of 319 dead and over 800 injured within four days. The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate rapidly as Israeli military operations intensify.

Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 40,000 as Ceasefire Talks Begin in Doha
The ongoing Israeli military campaign in Gaza has claimed the lives of more than 40,000 Palestinians, including at least 16,456 children and over 11,000 women, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
These figures mark a grim milestone as ceasefire talks, mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, are currently underway in Doha. The humanitarian disaster continues to escalate, with more than 10,000 Palestinians still missing, believed to be buried under rubble from relentless bombardment.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk described the situation as "unimaginable" and attributed it to Israel’s repeated failure to comply with the laws of war. Despite the staggering death toll, including the displacement of over 90% of Gaza’s population, international efforts to end the violence have struggled to gain traction.
Systematic Torture Claims Another Palestinian Life in Israeli Custody
Palestinian rights groups have reported the death of Nasr Zeyara, a 65-year-old Gaza resident, in an Israeli prison, bringing the total number of Palestinian detainees killed in custody since October to 24.
Zeyara’s family and fellow detainees claim he died of "systematic torture," adding to the growing list of human rights violations being documented. Despite suffering from severe health conditions, including burns, Zeyara was reportedly denied adequate medical care before his death in Ramla prison. The incident further highlights the harsh treatment faced by Palestinian prisoners under Israeli occupation.
Israeli Forces Intensify Military Operations in Jenin and Jabalia
Residents of the Jenin refugee camp continue to endure intense Israeli military raids, with reports of gunfire targeting civilians, including women and children. Oroba al-Shalabi, a local resident, recounted how Israeli soldiers fired indiscriminately at her home while she was holding a baby, despite her pleas.
Medical charity MSF expressed alarm over the scale of the incursion, criticizing the obstruction of healthcare services, including ambulances. Meanwhile, Israeli strikes on Jabalia and Gaza City have caused numerous casualties, with dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, killed in the latest attacks.
Israel’s Airstrikes Target Schools and Hospitals in Gaza
The Israeli military has intensified its airstrikes on evacuation centers, including United Nations-run schools in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of at least 30 people, most of them children.
Dr. Marwan al-Hams, the director of hospitals in Gaza, confirmed that 80% of the casualties were children seeking refuge. This attack follows several similar strikes on schools and hospitals used as shelters by displaced Palestinians, with the UN condemning these as violations of international humanitarian law.
Civil defense workers and medical staff have described these strikes as "war crimes," as Israel continues to target densely populated civilian areas without prior warning. The destruction of medical facilities, including the al-Ahli Arab Hospital, has left Gaza’s healthcare system in ruins, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Nebal Farsakh of the Palestine Red Crescent Society stated, "There is no safe place in Gaza," echoing the growing despair of a population that has been displaced multiple times.
International Outcry Grows as Humanitarian Crisis Worsens
International condemnation is mounting as Israel’s offensive shows no sign of abating. Kenneth Roth, a professor at Princeton, stressed that Israel’s actions, including cutting off essential services such as food, water, and electricity, violate the Geneva Conventions.
Roth emphasized that "Israel cannot use the presence of fighters as an excuse to starve civilians," drawing parallels between the situation in Gaza and previous cases of collective punishment.
The United Nations has repeatedly called for an end to the violence, with the UN Human Rights Office condemning the "unlawful killings" and "enormous destruction" caused by Israeli raids in both Gaza and the West Bank. As the humanitarian crisis reaches catastrophic proportions, the international community faces increasing pressure to intervene and ensure that the basic rights of Palestinians are protected.

Civilian Casualties Rise Amid Israeli Use of AI in Gaza Conflict
Israel’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) in its military campaign against Gaza has drawn criticism from analysts who argue that these tools are failing to distinguish between combatants and civilians.
Systems like “Habsora” (Gospel) and “Lavender” are designed to help Israeli forces identify targets, but experts warn that the technology is either inaccurate or used without sufficient care for collateral damage. The ongoing conflict has claimed the lives of over 41,000 Palestinians, most of whom are civilians, including women and children. Despite Israeli assertions that these systems aid human analysts in minimizing casualties, critics argue that the death toll demonstrates their failure to do so.
US Condemns Killing of Turkish-American Activist in West Bank
The killing of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, a 26-year-old Turkish-American activist, by an Israeli sniper during a protest in the West Bank has drawn international condemnation.
US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, called the killing "unprovoked and unjustified" and demanded accountability. Eygi was protesting against illegal Israeli settlements when she was fatally shot, prompting renewed scrutiny of Israel’s treatment of civilians and protestors in the occupied territories.
UNRWA Staff Among Victims of Israeli Strikes on Schools
Six staff members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) were killed in an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza. The school had been hit multiple times since the war began, housing over 12,000 displaced civilians. UNRWA has condemned the attacks, emphasizing that no place in Gaza is safe from Israel’s ongoing bombardment, further highlighting the dire situation for civilians seeking refuge.
Economic Collapse in Gaza and the West Bank
Israel’s war on Gaza has devastated the local economy, shrinking it to less than one-sixth of its size from 2022, according to a United Nations report. The report describes the collapse of income sources, the destruction of production infrastructure, and the widespread poverty that has enveloped the enclave. The economic downturn has also severely affected the West Bank, where Israeli raids have intensified since October 2023, further destabilizing the region.
Continued Israeli Raids and Settler Violence in the West Bank
Israeli forces and settlers have escalated violent operations in the West Bank, resulting in over 700 Palestinian deaths and thousands of arrests, many without charge. Recent attacks include the assault on Deir Nidham, where Israeli settlers pepper-sprayed a Palestinian woman and her children, causing severe injuries. Meanwhile, Israeli raids in towns like Anabta and Qabatiya have left a trail of destruction, with witnesses reporting military bulldozers taking bodies from rooftops after deadly gunfights.
UN Urges Ceasefire and Increased Aid to Gaza
UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary Anne DiCarlo has urged an immediate ceasefire as the death toll in Gaza surpasses 41,000, with thousands more displaced and facing malnutrition and disease. DiCarlo called for a "massive scale-up" of humanitarian aid to prevent further suffering, highlighting the increasing number of children and civilians among the dead. The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to worsen with no clear end to the conflict in sight.

Thousands Displaced as Israeli Strikes Intensify in Gaza and Lebanon
Israel’s military campaign continues to take a devastating toll across multiple regions, displacing thousands in Gaza and Lebanon. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported that over 20,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon have been displaced due to Israeli airstrikes. Emergency shelters have been opened to accommodate more than 4,300 people, and more are being prepared as the strikes intensify.
In Gaza, Israeli bombardments have displaced 1.9 million people, accounting for 90 percent of the enclave’s population. As the situation worsens, the need for humanitarian aid grows, but continued strikes make it difficult to deliver necessary relief.
UNHCR Calls for Ceasefire Amid Humanitarian Crisis in Lebanon
Filippo Grandi, the head of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), has called for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon after visiting displaced families sheltering in schools in Beirut. Grandi emphasized the need for airstrikes to stop, enabling refugees to safely return to their homes. He urged the international community to increase humanitarian support, as Lebanon faces a severe crisis with hundreds of thousands left without shelter or basic needs.
Israeli Military Orders Evacuation of Southern Lebanon Villages
The Israeli military issued an urgent evacuation order for 25 villages in southern Lebanon, urging residents to move north of the Awali River. Some of these villages, including Houla and Meiss el-Jabal, have been frequent targets of Israeli bombings in the past year. As the conflict expands, residents in these areas face increasing threats to their safety.
Death Toll in Gaza Continues to Rise
Israeli airstrikes across Gaza continue to claim lives. At least 37 Palestinians were killed in air raids on Saturday alone, bringing the overall death toll to over 41,825 since the conflict began in October 2023. Medical officials report a growing number of civilian casualties as Israeli forces carry out attacks in areas previously deemed “safe,” exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation.
US and UK Airstrikes Reported in Yemen
In addition to the escalating violence in Gaza and Lebanon, there have been US and British airstrikes reported in Houthi-controlled regions of Yemen, including areas in Sanaa and Hodeidah. While the UK denied involvement, the US military confirmed it had carried out 15 strikes against targets linked to Houthi fighters, further complicating the situation in the Middle East.
Israeli Strikes Near Marjayoun Hospital Shock Southern Lebanon
Israeli airstrikes near Marjayoun hospital in southern Lebanon have killed four paramedics and forced the closure of the facility, a major healthcare provider in the area. The strikes shocked the majority-Christian town, which had largely been spared in previous conflicts. This attack has raised concerns over the continued targeting of medical facilities, reminiscent of Israel’s bombing campaigns in Gaza.
10-Year-Old Gaza Girl’s Will Found After Israeli Airstrike
In a heartbreaking discovery, the family of 10-year-old Rasha Al-Ar’eer, killed in an Israeli airstrike, found her last will in a handwritten note. Rasha asked her family not to cry for her and to give her belongings to those in need. Rasha and her 11-year-old brother, Ahmad, were among the many children who have lost their lives in Gaza since the war began.
Escalating Violence in the Occupied West Bank
Israeli forces have ramped up their campaign against resistance in the occupied West Bank, using military jets to target areas with civilians, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. In Tulkarem, a massacre took place at a local café, where Israeli strikes killed a Hamas commander but also claimed the lives of many civilians. The West Bank, traditionally less involved in armed conflict, is now seeing increasing resistance, fueled by frustration over Israeli occupation and settler violence.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza and Lebanon continues to deteriorate as the Israeli military expands its offensive across multiple fronts. International efforts to mediate ceasefire agreements remain ongoing, but the increasing death toll and displacement are pushing the region to the brink of a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe.
Finally, Israel has killed its own people too!
Haaertz published a report earlier this year that highlighted the “Hannibal Directive” executed by the Israeli Occupational Forces. It permits the killing of Israelis for not being taken as captives.
One year of blood has ended. However, blood is still covering the hands of the entire world watching these massacres without doing absolutely nothing!
